Sat down with the family last night and really enjoyed it. Went in with low expectations then found myself laughing to my own relief and then again, then again.

Good, fun movie, excellent cameos and if this happens to be Paul Hogan’s last movie then i’m glad he went out a high note. His all star cast play as a constant roast on where Paul is at with his life and career.

Much better than I expected. Hogan careens from one calamity to the next but in Dundee style just dusts himself off and carries on. John Cleese is perfectly absurd and Chevy Chase is hilarious (well, he is an Oscar winner… or is he?).

Wayne Knight appears to channel Newman (or Michigan J. Bullfrog). Many cameos from Aussie comedians and actors. Possibly not big screen material, but provided many laughs.

Tried really hard to like this movie, as Paul Hogan is a true Aussie icon. However the plot was paper thin and the inclusion of Chevy Chase and John Cleese(also former stars in their own right) seemed totally pointless. Almost seemed like the cast had aged badly and were trying hard to find re-employment. Sort of sad to remember them this way…
