তেল ঢেলে সমুদ্রকে শান্ত করা হয় কেন?

Why is the sea calm by oil?

If there are too many waves in the ocean, oil is poured into that ocean to calm it. In fact, to calm the sea, liquid surface water is used here.

When oil is poured into the ocean, the floating oil wave first moves forward with the wave, leaving clear water behind. And the surface tension of clean water is higher than the surface tension of water mixed with oil.

As a result, this increased surface tension prevents large waves from forming in the clear water. And by doing so, the turbulent waves of the sea calm down.

তেল ঢেলে সমুদ্রকে শান্ত করা হয় সমুদ্রে অনেক বেশি ঢেউ থাকলে , একে শান্ত করার জন্য ঐ সমদ্রে তেল ঢেলে দেয়া হয় । আসলে এখানে সমুদ্রকে শান্ত করতে, তরলের পৃষ্ঠটান ধর্মকে কাজে লাগানো হয়।

সমুদ্রে তেল ঢালা হলে ,প্রথমে এই ভাসমান তেল ঢেউ এর সাথে সামনের দিকে যেতে থাকে ,ফলে পেছনের দিকে পরিষ্কার পানি থেকে যায়। আর তেল মিশ্রিত পানির পৃষ্ঠটান অপেক্ষা পরিষ্কার পানির পৃষ্ঠটান বেশি ।

ফলে এই বর্ধিত পৃষ্ঠটান পরিষ্কার পানিতে বড় আকারের ঢেউ তুলতে বাধা দেয় ।আর এতে করেই, সমুদ্রের অশান্ত ঢেউ শান্ত হয়ে যায়।
