YouTube have changed their partner program eligibility a month ago. Now you will have to have 4000 hours of watchtime and 1 thousand subscribers within past 12 months. For all the channels that had monetization enabled previously but are not eligible with the new rule will be removed from the partner program from 20th February 2018. Most of the people who are loosing their monetization are worried. I have explained why they should not worry about the new rule.
